Taiga Motors Website Redefines an Industry
Origin is pleased to announce the launch of Taiga Motors’ new website, which serves as the brand’s core direct-to-consumer experience as Taiga begins delivery of the world’s first-ever electric snowmobile this winter, followed by the release of their revolutionary electric personal watercraft in Spring 2022.
Not only does the site introduce the electric powersports company’s brand promise of “exploration evolved,” it also allows customers to configure and purchase products entirely online. This industry-first experience will enable a whole new community of outdoor enthusiasts to complete their entire transaction from their mobile device and find their new vehicle waiting for them at the local dealership of their choice.
The redesign’s guiding thought was to create an inclusive and innovative experience wrapped in an elegantly modern aesthetic that delivers an inspiring and trusted impression. The entirely reimagined information architecture resulted in a website that both informs and inspires, making the vehicle selection process simple and understanding the product technology enjoyable. In order to achieve this, Origin partnered with JIBE, a talented team of e-commerce developers who were able to bring the designs to life in the Fabric headless commerce platform.
Throughout, the aesthetic and tone emphasizes Taiga’s exhilarating, sophisticated, and sustainable approach to the engineering and production of their revolutionary electric off-road vehicles, while the overall content strategy reinforces the brand’s mission to make off-road powersports more accessible and welcoming to all.
