Origin announces new Director of Video & Content
Origin is excited to announce the addition of Andrea Wing as the new Director of Video & Content. Andrea (or “Winger” to most people) is a veteran of both the film and outdoor industries and joins Origin following a six-year stint at Lululemon where she led the brand’s video and content teams.
Andrea is a director and cinematographer whose work with outdoor athletes and international brands, producing global commercial content has led her to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Australia, Austria and to some of North America’s most inspiring outdoor spaces. She boasts several awards for her work including, a 2017 Applied Arts Award - Brand Film, a 2017 Official Selection - Global Cinema Film Festival of Boston, 2016 Humanitarian Award - Best Shorts Competition, 2016 Humanitarian Award - Accolade Global Film Competition and she was a 2016 Finalist - Social Impact Film Festival of New York.
Andrea will be responsible for managing Origin’s dynamic and growing video department, as the agency continues to position itself as a leader in outdoor-focused branded content.
Wing joins Origin at a pivotal and exciting time for the award-winning agency. Building off the 2017 success of the groundbreaking Magnetic movie produced in partnership with Whistler Blackcomb, Origin is poised to continue making waves in the content realm with projects for mountain destinations and outdoor manufacturers across North America.
